It’s officially summer, and we’re very excited to finally have those few very precious weeks where we can hang out in London’s best roof top bars summer 2016.
Londoners are experts at understanding that English summers are so unpredictable, and we have to take advantage of every single opportunity of each and every sun ray to grace our otherwise grey skyline. There are plenty of rooftop bars throughout London offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, but these are some of our favourites.
Located on Oxford Street, Notch offers great views, cocktails and light snack food. Perfect for after-work drinks, especially for those Fridays you manage to sneak away from the office before 5pm.
Although Frank’s Café is located on top of a car park, it’s become a huge favourite in Peckham. As this venue is so popular, we recommend finding an excuse to leave the office early to beat the queues or unwinding on a Sunday evening.
Located near Oxford Circus tube station, Aqua offers a beautiful bar as well as a restaurant and roof terrace with a great atmosphere. Expect a chic and attractive crowd. Often popular with singles. Perfect for dates or after-work drinks with colleagues.
Radio Rooftop bar
Located on top of the ME hotel in Aldywch, the Radio Rooftop bar is hugely popular so ensure to book and arrive early. There is often a £75 minimum spend per person, but expect beautiful views of London and a very sophisticated crowd.
Dalston Roof Park
Becoming more and more popular each year, Dalston roof park has become a popular venue for headline DJ events and alfresco cinema evenings. Expect deckchairs and artificial grass.
It’s also worth visiting Rooftop Film Club and taking in one of the many films they show in their venues across London in summer.
