Over the years, that story has travelled beyond the barbershop. Pall Mall Barbers has appeared across British television, radio, national press, international publications, sporting occasions, business conferences and brand events.
From BBC programmes and a visit from Prince William to Champions League finals, Cage Warriors, Queen’s Club and collaborations with Hugo Boss, GQ and Mastercard, each occasion has introduced British barbering to a different audience.
Some moments have been about style. Others have been about business, confidence, culture or men’s wellbeing.
All of them form part of the Pall Mall Barbers story. Keep Sharp. Every Day.
A Modern Heritage on Media
The traditional character of Pall Mall Barbers has made its locations a natural setting for television, interviews, photography and editorial features.
Wood panelling, barber chairs, mirrors and familiar barbershop details provide a recognisably British backdrop without feeling like a staged set.
Pall Mall Barbers has worked with broadcasters, publishers and international organisations including the BBC, ITV, GQ, Hugo Boss, Mastercard, the Champions League, Google, Facebook, BMW, Club Wembley and the World Retail Congress.
The role of Pall Mall Barbers within these projects varies. At times, the barbershop provides the setting. At others, the brand contributes commentary, event experiences, grooming knowledge or the perspective of founder Richard Marshall.
A Royal Visit to Pall Mall Barbers
On 14 February 2019, Pall Mall Barbers welcomed Prince William, then The Duke of Cambridge, to our Paddington barbershop. The visit formed part of a day focused on men’s mental health and the organisations helping men speak more openly about how they are feeling.
During his time at Pall Mall Barbers, Prince William met people involved in barber-led mental health awareness and discussed the role barbershops can play as familiar places for conversation.
The visit received coverage from the Royal Family, ITV, ABC News, Good Morning America, People, Royal Life Magazine and publications in the UK and overseas.

Featured Editorial Coverage
The Gentleman’s Journal
Richard Marshall contributed advice to The Gentleman’s Journal on maintaining a strong haircut and managing your appearance between appointments. The feature covered subjects including choosing the right barber, planning regular maintenance and using suitable grooming products.
The point was straightforward. A sharp appearance is easier to maintain when you have a clear routine.
The Manual
The Manual spoke with Richard Marshall about thinning hair, receding hairlines and the haircut choices men may consider as their hair changes. The feature approached the subject without embarrassment or unnecessary judgement. The right decision depends on the individual, his hair, his routine and how he wants to present himself.
ON IN LONDON
ON IN LONDON featured Richard Marshall’s journey from beginning work in a barbershop at a young age to developing Pall Mall Barbers. The interview covered barbering, entrepreneurship, business growth and the decisions involved in building a modern men’s grooming brand around a long British heritage.

Events and Collaborations
A Pall Mall Barbers pop-up is not there to fill space.
It gives people something practical.
A reason to stop. A place to talk. An opportunity to prepare properly before getting on with the rest of the day.
Pall Mall Barbers has taken its pop-up format into sporting venues, offices, conferences, retail spaces, embassies and international events. Public records include work connected with Mastercard, Hugo Boss, GQ, Foot Locker, the NBA, Cage Warriors, Retail Week and the World Retail Congress.
The setting changes.
The standard should not.
Sport and Live Events
Cage Warriors
Pall Mall Barbers has been a long-term supporter and sponsor of Cage Warriors. The pop-up barbershop appeared at several UK events, including Cage Warriors 80, Cage Warriors 92 and Cage Warriors 106. Professional sport demands preparation. Your appearance is part of how you show up.
