RICHARD MARSHALL MBE | FOUNDER & CEO OF PALL MALL BARBERS
Richard Marshall MBE is the Founder and CEO of Pall Mall Barbers, building his career from the barber’s chair into British entrepreneurship and international business. Since taking over the original London barbershop in 2005, Richard has led the growth of Pall Mall Barbers across London and into New York, including its Rockefeller Center location. His contribution was recognised in The King’s New Year Honours 2026, where he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to international trade, mentoring and people with dyslexia.
Richard’s journey has also included welcoming HRH Prince William to Pall Mall Barbers Paddington in 2019 for an initiative focused on men’s mental health, alongside international recognition including the RLI Rising Star Award 2019 and a UK Board of Trade Award in 2018. From representing British barbering internationally to mentoring others and advocating for people with dyslexia, his story reflects the standards behind Pall Mall Barbers: craft, resilience, service and the ambition to keep moving forward.
A Royal Visit at Pall Mall Barbers London
Prince William arrived at our barber shop with our Founder & CEO Richard Marshall, battling the crowds of Royal fans who had gathered outside to witness the Prince in person. He spent time speaking with our barbers talking about the importance of addressing mental health issues.
The visit attracted global media attention with Richard Marshall being interviewed on ITV News London whilst General Manager spoke live on Sky News. The Royal household covered the visit, with tweets and articles from Kensington Palace and the Royal Family as well as the Heads Together initiative.
